2012/13 WOMEN'S SENIOR ORDER OF MERIT
Congratulations to Monash Country Club's Jacqui Morgan who has won the 2012/13 Golf NSW Women's Senior Order of Merit for a second time after winning last years title.
Morgan played 11 rounds in total averaging an impressive 78.45 across all her events.
ABOUT
The Women’s Senior Order of Merit is open to female amateur golfers, 50 years of age and over, who hold a current Australian or overseas equivalent handicap, and who have a handicap of 14 and under. Players are required to register with Golf NSW to participate.
The SOOM will run from the first event after the NSW Seniors Championship each year and will conclude at the NSW Seniors Championship in the following year with the presentation of the Trophy. A selected number of nominated events make up the Women’s Senior Order of Merit. Events which have Jean Derrin status automatically qualify as SOOM events.
The events (see calendar - top right) are run by the individual host Clubs.
The scoring average will be calculated as the player’s best 8 rounds (rounded to two decimal places).
The Senior Order of Merit will be awarded to the best scoring average from a player who is 50 years of age or over, as at the last day of the 2014 NSW Women’s Senior Championship.
