DIVISION 1

New South Wales GC will go head to head against neighbours St. Michael's GC. After going about their business steadily, New South Wales put the Division on notice by defeating Concord 7-0 and progressing through to semi-finals as top seed in Division One.

2017 finalist St. Michael's, led by huge wins from John Lyras and Mike Hammond wiinning 7&6, has set up what is going to be a thriller on Sunday 25th March at Riverside Oaks Golf Resort, Bungool Course. Tee off starts at 10:30am.

Defending Champions The Australian GC will take on Bonnie Doon GC in the other semi-final. The Australian GC knew they needed to win against Cabramatta and were bolstered with returning Avondale Medallist Blake WIndred. Firing youngsters Thomas Heaton and Jeffrey Guan continued their impressive form defeating Cabramatta 7-0.

Bonnie Doon GC were dominant defeating Moore Park and will go into the semi-fnal against The Australian GC with some confidence. It is going to be a clash between two young teams of superstars on Sunday 25th March at Riverside Oaks Golf Resort, Bungool Course. Tee off is at 11:30am.

DIVISION 2

Castle Hill GC prevailed against Lynwood 6-1 and will now take on Penrith GC who scrapped through to the semi-finals by defeating Bayview 4-3. North Ryde accounted for Oatlands 4.5-2.5 but fell agonisingly to 0.5 individual games short of Penrith GC in what was one of the tightest groups of the season. 

Cromer GC will play against Cronulla GC after Cromer was able to defeat rivals Killara GC 5-2 to progress through to the semi-finals. Cronulla GC had a nail bitting wait to find out if they had qualified after they defeated Monash 5.5-1.5. Liverpool could only manage a 3.5-3.5 draw against Muirfield which was not enough to see them progress after both Cronulla and Liverpool finished with two wins and four draws. Cronulla clinched the semi-final spot by 3.5 individual games.

DIVISION 3

Carnarvon left nothing to spare with a dominant 7-0 win at home against Woolooware. They will now go up against Massey Park who were able to come away with a 3.5-3.5 draw against Cumberland.

Camden prevailed away against Kogarah 4.5-2.5 which secured top spot and a semi-final against Glenmore Heritage Valley who easily accounted for Wallacia 5-2 at home. Impressive with a huge 8&7 win was Steven Zingle for Glenmore. Royal Sydney missed out on progressing through foced down by Wakehusrt 5-2 with Brett Mason winning 8&7. 

DIVISION 4

Campbelltown GC will face Northbridge GC after both teams were able to scrap through to semi-finals courtesy of last round matches going their way. Campbelltown prevailed in a close encounter defeating Randwick 4-3 away and Northbridge managed a 3-5.3-5 draw at Leonay which was enough to see them through.

Warringah who secured their spot in semi-fnails stages previously will play Brighton Lakes who against all odds defeated Riverside Oaks away 4-3 courtesy of big wins from Brock Speechley 6&5 and Joshua Speechley 5&4. This catapulted them to top of group after windsor accounted for Beverley Park 4-3.

DIVISION 5

Springwood CC, in their first year in the Metropolitan Major Pennants are the only team who haven't lost this season with 5 wins and 1 draw. Kyle Honeysett was impressive winning 9&7 to set up a clash with Georges River GC who secured their semi-final spot by finishing as the highest second place team in division 5.

Cammeray caused an upset by defeating Gordon at home 5-2 and will now face Kareela who were far too strong defeating Rosnay 7-0 at home and clinched top spot in section 2.

WOMEN DIVISION 1

Led by St. Michael's Stephanie Kyriacou and Kelsey Bennett winning 9&7 and Casey cook winning 8&7 were too strong for Moore Park defeating them 3-2. St. Michael's GC will now go head to head against New South Wales GC in the first semi-final, even after a loss at The Lakes, New South Wales GC were still able to finish second in their group and claim a semi-final birth. Sunday 25th March at Riverside Oaks Golf Resort, Bungool Course. Tee off 7:00am.

The Australian GC defeated Bonnie Doon in a nail bitter that was decided in the last match and the 18th hole. Amy Chu did enough to win 1up and secure a semi final spot for here team which will now face 2016 finalist Concord who were too strong defeating Castle Hill 4.5-0.5. Sunday 25th March at Riverside Oaks Golf Resort, Bungool Course. Tee off 7:45am.

WOMEN DIVISION 2

Unbeaten Cronulla GC will take on Pymble GC in the first semi-final after Pymble were defeated by Ryde-Parramatta 3.5-1.5 and finished in second position in section 2. Stonecutters Ridge who topped their section after defeating North Ryde 3.5-1.5 at home will face Cumberland who managed to scrap through with a 2.5-2.5 draw at home.
