The First - round draw for the 2017 NSW Open has been released and features some great groups for fans to follow.

2017 NSW Open Champion Ben Eccles will begin his quest for a second title at 7.25 am alongside Cory Crawford and John Michael O’Toole. Following them from the first tee will be the trio of Rory Bourke, Ewan Porter and making his professional debut, Shellharbour’s Travis Smyth.

Dylan Perry, Steven Jeffress and Jordan Zunic will begin at 7.15 am from the tenth tee, following them out at 7.25 am will be 2007 Champion Jason Norris, Shae Wools-Cobb and Tasmanian Matt Goggin.

Brett Rumford, Stephen Allan and Western Australian amateur star Min Woo Lee will follow, while Cameron Davis, Rhein Gibson and Italian Luca Cianchetti are off at 7.45.

If that’s not enough star power for one morning, grab some lunch in the magnificent Twin Creeks clubhouse before catching the afternoon action as the second half of the field gets their tournament underway.

Longtime fan favourite Peter O’Malley will be joining David McKenzie and Peter Lonard on the first tee at 12.15pm, and they will be followed by Jason Scrivener Sam Cyr, and Sydney’s Andrew Evans.

Freshly minted WA Open champion Stephen Leaney will be playing alongside Daniel Fox and Korean Jihoon Kim at 12.35 from the first, while South Australian Max McCardle will join Aaron Wilkin and Western Australia’s rising Star Jarryd Felton.

Avondale’s Harrison Endycott will take his first shot as a professional from the first tee at 1.05pm alongside Josh Younger and Queensland’s Christopher Wood.

Michael Long, Zach Murray and Brett Coletta will go from the tenth tee in the afternoon at 12.25pm; they will be followed by Texan Kramer Hickok, Cronulla's Jamie Arnold and Newcastle’s Jake Higginbottom.

Dimi Papadatos and Victorian Ashley Hall will be late arrivals, fresh from European Tour School and will get their tournament underway at 1.25pm form the tenth.

With the weather predicted to be mild with a chance of showers, it is shaping up to be a perfect day for golf for fans.
