Stefanie Hall has experienced a few firsts in her young golf career, but yesterday's was a unique one - she became a living billboard.

The National and State representative's image has been greeting golfers at the entrance to Campbelltown Golf Club to promote next month's NSW State Foursomes Championships. Yesterday she had the opportunity to see the billboard first-hand and repeat the pose for real.

"Oh this is so cool!" she exclaimed.

The 17-year-old from Shellharbour posed for photos while swinging a driver and hitting an imaginary ball in front of the billboard as golfers arrived at the Club in novel promotion for the Championships.

"I've never done this before. Wait till my friends see this on Facebook," she laughed.

Hall is excited about the Foursomes and has already pencilled in a possible partner or two for the event.

“I’m probably going to play with one of my Junior State Teammates for sure,” she said.

The NSW Mixed Foursomes Championship will take place on Saturday, November 5th, followed by the Men's and Women's State Foursomes Championships together on Sunday, November 6th.

Foursome is a version of the game where teams of two take alternate shots until they complete a hole.

The weekend of competition is shaping up as a great event for the city of Campbelltown, and a high-quality field is lining up to take part.

Campbelltown City Council's newly elected Mayor, Councillor George Brticevic was on hand to witness Stefanie in full swing and to support the Championship.

"Council is always looking for ways of bringing people to Campbelltown, to experience what the city has to offer - what better way than through this outstanding event.

"This tournament is helping showcase Campbelltown City to a broad audience, and the significance of increased visitation to the City as a destination for a range of experiences - including sporting - can't be overlooked,

"It's taking place at the same time as one our most iconic community events, the Festival of Fisher’s Ghost, so we're looking forward to welcoming as many people as we can," Cr Brticevic smiled.
